The Body Shop

Firstly we are sorry for being gone about a month, college assignments and work had taken over. But hopefully now we will be sticking to our schedule to post again every Wednesday and Saturday.
So its exactly a month to Christmas and its 2 days to our birthday wooooooop!!!! Anyway todays post is going to be a review of 5 products I was given from The Body Shop to wear at work. As you have probably worked out now I work at The Body Shop, I am only a Christmas Temp but fingers crossed I get kept on. It's so much fun everyone is so nice and The Body Shop truly treat there staff very kindly, hence why I got given 5 free products.
Starting of with their new foundation-Fresh Nude Foundation. This foundation  is made up with great properties including rose water which makes it smell lovely and creates a gorgeous glow to the skin. I find this foundation lovely when you want your skin to look healthy and fresh. To apply this foundation I use my fingers, it works really well and its nice and quick. I don't actually wear this foundation to work because It means I would have to powder during my shifts. But I love it for those days when you don't really fancy wearing much makeup but want something to make you look alive. The coverage is medium you can build it up however I just use concealer on the areas I want more coverage.
Next I chose a shimmer waves in the number 02. So a shimmer waves is a shimmery blush/highlight. I LOVE this product so much. On top of the fresh nude foundation you just look so fresh faced. Its beautiful! I use the 2 light shades as a highlight, catching it in the light it looks even prettier. You cannot go wrong with this palette especially as it works just as good as eye shadows.
Moving onto eyes I picked up one of the shimmer cubes. These are amazing so pretty and work wet or dry. Either way they both look just as lovely. I love this palette because you can create either a natural eye or build it up to be smoky. I love wearing it as a smoky eye that's why I also picked up the duo eye definer in the brown colour. I apply this to my waterlines and blend out with a small brush. I have been enjoying this recently because it reminds me of Cheryl Fernandez makeup. And who doesn't want to try and look like Cheryl.
Lastly I was recommended one of the colour crush lipsticks in the shade 240. This colour is gorgeous its a winter purple- best way I can describe it. Its not matte but I would say it is a satin finish. These lipsticks do last a long time however talking to customers 24/7  on a shift does make it come of so I wear a lip liner on underneath.
That's everything for todays post- I hope I have made you all want to visit a Body Shop store now. These products would make good stocking fillers!

In the early September we got contacted by an online prescription sunglasses and eyeglasses retailer, called Salt City Optics. They want to know what our fall essentials are so we thought we would do a post on our fall necessities!

1.) Sunglasses/glasses- there is nothing worse than being in a car with the bright sun in your eyes so sunglasses are an essential, to protect your eyes and for those unexpected. sunny days in the fall time!
2.) Coat- It gets really cold in Britain so a coat is a must have for fall!
3.) An adventurous streak is also a must have for Autumn because you will be soo bored in your house all day everyday. Adventure is needed because you can experience new things without being affected from the weather. Our example is going to Brighton!
4.) Dark lipsticks are a necessity because it just links with the season and is the best opportunity to wear it!
5.)A thick scarf is a life saver in the colder months, they double up as a blanket and scarf.

Styling Eat Sleep and Fashion

Eat Sleep and Fashion (Caitlin) was having a little panic about not having an interesting wardrobe (even though she does.) I wanted to help Caitlin by styling her current wardrobe, to show she does have pieces that she can wear! Styling is something I want to do when I am older so this was kind of work experience for me. All of these outfits are my favourite as they are a little out of Caitlin's comfort zone, to give her inspiration of adapting to her style. I found styling Caitlin SO much fun which is making me want to make this into a series (using other people.) For these outfits I wanted to go for everyday looks but to glam them up a bit. This is shown with the gold (Whistles) clutch and the white dress, layered with a black (H&M) jumper.

Little Black Dress

Black Dress- Zara
Floral Necklace- H&M
Loafers-M&S

I have been loving this little number recently. I think it is the perfect outfit for more formal or evening events. Zara do the nicest clothes and recently I have just seen so much that I like which, is a first for me because I usually direct myself to makeup and ignore clothes. So if you haven't been in Zara recently you have to ASAP.
