My (Hayley) everyday makeup!

Normally makeup posts are written by Kirsty, however today we thought it would be nice to see my everyday makeup. After holiday and beginning college my everyday makeup has changed quite a bit. When I was at school I only wore foundation, concealer, powder, mascara (some days) and bronzer...this is because I wasn't bothered about doing my makeup early in the morning. But now I have added blusher, lip-gloss/lipsticks and eyebrow tint.
Foundation- Loreal Infallible 24H- Matte
Concealer- Revlon Colourstay
Concealer- Touche Éclat YSL
Bronzer- NYC
Powder- Rimmel Stay matte
Blush- Milani Luminoso
Mascara- Rimmel Wonder'full
Primer- Porefessional Benefit
Lipbalm- Burtsbees
Lipgloss- Milani
Eyebrow- Maybelline Brow drama

Green Envy Nails

Today was a big day for me because I bought a new nail varnish and topcoat! I haven't painted my own nails in a very long time because my sister is a beauty therapist so she kindly paints my nails for me. But when I was shopping with Caitlin (the nail varnish queen) I asked for her help to pick a nice colour and topcoat. So I picked up the ones she recommended, which were:
The topcoat Caitlin reviewed over on her blog today so click here to read why she loves this so much. Oh and if you haven't noticed we have a new banner also created by Caitlin

Eleanor and Park- Book Review

This book was my holiday book, specifically for the long haul flight as I knew I would not have enough time to read it whilst on my travels. Anyway, I have finally finished Eleanor & Park written by Rainbow Rowell I say I have finally finished because the plan to read it on the plane did not happen as I had a lot of films to watch....
To be honest I am not really sure how I feel about this book. I am going to tell you my feelings throughout the book:
Number One- Confused; the language at the beginning was quite confusing that I didn't understand what Eleanor and park were talking about.... their interests and hobbies are different to mine so that is why I was confused with some of their vocabulary.
Number two- In Awe; I was warming to the characters and their 'love' story. I say 'love' in quotations because it is not the stereotypical love story that is cushioned with ponies and unicorns. This one is what I am guessing to be the realistic love as in the real love story.
Number three- Surprised; I was a bit shocked with how Park feels towards Eleanor... he has a love for her but he also feels embarrassed with the truth that he actually loves her. He made me feel a bit angry because his thoughts about Eleanor on some occasions are just annoying. (I don't want to give away the book)
Number four- Park's mum; I felt like Parks mum... she basically wants to give Eleanor a makeover and by what I read I just wanted to give Eleanor a new wardrobe (not in a horrible way)
Number five- Mixed emotions.... the ending is sweet but also a little disappointing I guess I am a bit disappointed because the ending isn't an end (kind of like a cliff hanger) but the ending is also cute because its your imagination that ends the ending (if that makes any sense). I guess it is your imagination that determines Eleanor and parks ending/future.
Rainbow Rowell has done a good book it is nice that it is different to stereotypical love stories but I guess I am just a sucker for a happily ever after? Anyway, I would rate this book a 7/10 however, this is just my opinion and everyone thinks differently.

American Makeup Haul- Part 2

1.) Lipsticks! Now my main priority was to buy lipsticks whilst in America. This is due to the fact I LOVE lip products! So what I had brought lip wise in America is listed below:
Milani 'Black Cherry'- This dark plum colour is perfect for those wintery days.
Milani 'Plumrose'- This is an every day pinky/nude shade.
Milani 'Matte Passion'- I bought this because it looks similar to Kendall Jenner's limited edition lipstick with Estee Lauder.
Milani lipgloss 'Bare Secret'- This is great for an everyday lip.
Revlon 'Black Cherry'- yes I know the Milani one looks the exact same and has the same name but what can I say I love dark lipsticks?!
Elf nude lip balm- This is sheer but a nice formula for the lips.
Wet 'n' wild 'Think Pink'
Sephora lip crème 'Already Red'
Elf 'Rich Red' lipstick
Now onto the base, I only bought 1 foundation which was the Covergirl 3 in 1.
For the cheeks I bought Milani blush in the colour 'Luminoso' and Physicians Formula Argon Oil blush which is 'exotic blushing glow'. For bronzer I bought a palette that comes in four shades from Elf.

For the eyes I bought the Covergirl clump crusher mascara and a eyeshadow palette from Wet 'n' Wild which is called Walking on Eggshells.
That is all I bought from America excluding a lot of Key rings from all the places we went to!

American Makeup Haul-Part 1

As you can tell from the photos above, that when I was in America I bought just a bit of makeup! Most of it though was from the drugstore, only 2 bits where from Sephora. Which I must say would be the perfect heaven. And plus when you are from Britain you need to take advantage of the American prices for makeup and all of the many more things they have!

From Sephora I purchased:
Tarte Amazonian clay 12hr blush-Fearless
Sephora Lipcream- Already Red

CVS and Walgreens:
Physicians Formula Argon Oil Blush-Exotic Blushing Glow
Milani Baked Blush-Luminoso
Milani Lipstick-Black Cherry
Milani Matte Lipstick-Kiss
CoverGirl 3 in 1 Foundation-805
CoverGirl Clump Crusher-Black Brown (Mainly because Ellie LOVES it)
Wet 'n' Wild Eyeshadow Palette-Comfort Zone
Wet 'n' Wild Lipstick-Think Pink
Loreal Infallible eyshadow-Amber rush
Loreal True Match-W2
Elf Matte Lip Color-Rich Red
Elf Hydrating Under Eye Primer-Clear
Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream-Milan
EOS Handcream-Cucumber

We have missed last weeks post because Jetlag had its toll as well as the fact we started college the day after we arrived back from America. So there will be part 2 coming tomorrow. Also, starting Tuesdays for the next 6 weeks there will be posts of each state we visited in the US! The series will be called 'Tuesday Travels'. So there will be 3 posts a week for the next 6 weeks.
