July Favourites

July is almost over which means its time to share our favourites. Where are the days going?

Kirsty's:
Starting with beauty I have been loving the Mac 'Prep and Prime' powder for setting my makeup with. It is amazing, it makes your makeup last that little bit longer and makes your skin look flawless. I have only ever used the Rimmel stay matt but after using this I have been completely converted! I feel like now the Rimmel one you can tell that you are wearing powder, where as the Mac one you can't.  That's it for makeup this month. So moving on, I have been enjoying wearing my Pandora rings and my silver sandals that I wore to prom. I just love the look of silver especially with blue clothing.  Now let's talk about my Inspiration of this month... Rosie Huntington Whitley! I have just been obsessed with her hair and Makeup, I won't say anymore because I will be dedicating a post to her soon. (Keep your eyes peeled for an inspired look in August!)

Hayley's:
This month I have been absolutely loving my Zara Culottes which will be featured in a post in August! I just think they are very unique with their wide legs and monochrome stripes. My favourite feature on the culottes is the drawstring waist just because it's flattering around the hip area. Secondly, my favourite of this month has been my design book due to the fact I have to design some outlines for my summer college project ready for when I begin in September. The model templates are extremely helpful if you are someone like me who doesn't have art skills like Vincent Van Gough. The design book is from Waterstones but you can always find the smaller version in Urban Outfitters.

Twin's:
Both of us have agreed that our MCM (man crush Monday-but everyday in July) have been Nick Jonas and Brooklyn Beckham! They are just beautiful human creatures that the love heart emoji must have been made for. Our favourite memory this month has definitely been Prom. Everything about it was so much fun and something we will always cherish! Lastly, we have been amazed by the Garnier sun kissed moisturiser. Basically it is a moisturiser that slightly gives you a tan which looks very natural. For very pale people like us we swear by this product now!

My Wall Of Motivation

Since the beginning of February I have been slowly redecorating my bedroom. Considering that I have the smallest bedroom ever I can't do much to make it look new. However, I think the changes I have made do make a complete difference and I am now very happy with my bedroom. One of my favourite things is my motivational wall. People that know me will know that I'm a huge lover of motivational things that being quotes, stories or people. I like to try and be positive all the time so this wall helps me out when I'm lacking in that. The photo of my favourite woman, Audrey Hepburn, is from Paper chase. The quote that says 'Make today ridiculously amazing' is actually a card from M&S. The Vogue sign is what I found from google images. The quote with the hint of green I found from Pinterest that I just edited to make it fit my theme. Lastly my favourite one is a quote my Grandad had written down and kept with him all the time to keep him positive and determined to fight cancer. It's a quote I will always cherish and something that will always remind me of my wonderful Grandad.

Healthy Pasta Dish

It has been a while since we have done a food post. So today is a healthy wholemeal pasta dish from 'Divina's 5 weeks to sugar-free.'
This is a yummy, satisfying dish that is definitely tasty on your taste buds! We do not follow the 5 week guide to sugar free but we do like to try out a few of her amazing recipes in her book. The parmesan on top of the pasta completes the dish as it makes your tongue roam around your mouth ... I hope that makes sense!? If you would like to follow this recipe then I highly recommend buying the book on amazon! If you would like to see another recipe we have followed from Divina's book then click here for a more indulging recipe!

Allegiant | Book Review #1

Ever since Christmas I wanted to start reading books and so I put them on my Christmas list. Now I have time off to finally read, I have decided to begin with the book Allegiant...the trilogy of Divergent. Well this did not take me long to read considering it consists of 526 pages and 56 chapters excluding the epilogue. When I mean it didn't take me long to read the whole thing, I mean it did not take me long at all....within the space of 24 hours....do you consider me as a bookworm or just a little obsessed with the divergent series?
Anyway, this book is bloody amazing! The ending is special and is in fact a good ending as some books can be good but the ending ruins it (if you know what I mean.) Obviously I do not want to give any details away as that would ruin it for anyone wanting to read the book but all I am going to say is if you are a crier like myself you may want to have tissues prepared! I would say the Divergent series is a mix between the hunger games and maze runner. So if you enjoy either the hunger games or maze runner than this book is great for you!

Casual Summer Dress

I love this outfit because it is such a casual dress. However, with heels it looks more girly and effortless. I find khaki complements pale people very well so I find this dress suitable for me. This dress is perfect for summer as it is loose fabric so doesn't get all hot and sticky.

Khaki Dress- H&M
White heeled sandals- Newlook
Lips- Tanya Burr 'Vampire Kiss'
