Memories made in 2014

It's the last day of 2014 so we thought what would be more better than showing you our favourite moments from 2014. It has certainly been a quick year for us and a good one! We started the year with Disney Land Paris with our school in March and boy didn't we have fun. It has been 9 months and I still want to relive the memories I had in Paris. It was certainly the best trip I have ever had, full of laughs and smiles!
Seeing my friend Rebecca who is now living up north was also a great moment in 2014. I miss her so much so seeing her was amazing and catching up for the day was good. If you cant tell by the photos of us two on the left, we had a lot of fun in that photo booth!
Although I do not have a polaroid picture of the One Direction Where We Are tour I have kept the wristband that we all got given when standing in the stadium! Seeing the boys for the 3rd time was an amazing experience and I personally think it was the best concert they have done yet. I was watching my videos from the concert this morning, and I had chills from how amazing it was to be their, we were SO close and they performed incredibly. Queuing up for over 7 hours was definitely worth it! I would do it over and over again if I could!
Turkey! Now what can I say from my holiday? It was one of  the funniest holidays we have had. We shared the experience with great company from our family friends. I think without them we probably would have had a, not so great time, due to the resort we were in. My best memory from the holiday was the jeep safari, we got to see how the Turkish really lived in the outer skirts of Turkey with the majority of them living on farms. We got to experience a lot and I mean a lot, of water hitting us due to us travelling with ten other jeeps with water guns ( I'd like to think we were quite good at squirting people with water however it consisted of a lot of screams from the shock of the cold water....) We also got to go in a mud bath and that alone was amazing it was basically a river that was FULL of the mud clay mask stuff. We also got to visit this river in between 2 cliffs however I cannot remember what it was called but it was a great tourist location. Also we got to go in the rapid river where I physically and mentally wet myself with our friend Lucy, due to me being detached from her in my ring when she had the ore and I didn't so I was basically in a very dangerous river with no where to steer to the river bank....I wonder if there was a waterfall near me, then it probably wouldn't have been funny! Another amazing experience I personally had in Turkey was the boat trip we went on, I got to see a lot of different beaches that were clear and beautiful as if I was in the Maldives. I went snorkelling and saw plenty of wannabe Dory's (from Finding Nemo). That for me was amazing as I enjoyed looking at the fish and what there lived deeper in the sea! It was peaceful and breath taking to see the beauty of what the world had to offer and that is why I love to travel!
Finally, going to London this year quite a few times, was also amazing because if you didn't know already we really LOVE London and every time we go their we fall in love with the city even more. Even if it is just walking around it is still enjoyable and full of laughs. We are in awe of the city and the one thing I love about it is that it never gets old with our excitement of the place!
I hope you enjoyed this post. We really do wish you all the best of 2015 and hope you enjoyed the adventures of 2014. Although we have had an amazing 2014 we cannot wait for 2015 as we have quite a lot to look forward to. On Saturday we will have a beauty post uploaded and next Wednesday our New years resolutions will be published! Have a safe and amazing New Year!

Kim K Kinda Day

Kim Kardashian West always has beautiful makeup, so whilst I was searching her in google Images I came across this photo and wanted to recreate it straight away. So with the makeup I have this is what I came up with.

FACE:
  • Nars Sheer Glow Foundation
  • Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
  • Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
  • NYC 'sunny' Bronzer
  • Mac 'Peaches' Blush
  • Clarins 'Miami Pink' Blush
  • Mac 'Soft and Gentle' Mineralize Skinfinish
EYES:
  • Naked 2 'Booty Call'
  • Stilla In the Light Palette 'Bliss'
  • Mac 'Goldbit' eyeshadow
  • Loreal Liquid eyeliner
  • Rimmel Wonderful Mascara (Lots of it)
BROWS:
  • Soap And Glory Brow Archery
  • Mac 'Omega' Eyeshadow
LIPS:
  • Rimmel 'Tantrum' Lipstick

Improvements:
  • False Eyelashes (Kim K has very long full lashes so if you haven't got lashes like hers then I suggest using false ones)
  • A Light Concealer (for the highlighted look I recommend using  a 2 shades lighter concealer)
  • More Bronzing

In the New Year I might recreate another look of one of the Kardashians but next time I will be 100% prepared and buy what I need for the look.
Hope you liked todays post

Offically Fallen

I can finally say that I own 2 products from Nars! I'm so grateful to of received these two lovely gifts from my birthday. I would say the most hyped product from Nars is The 'Nars Sheer Glow' which I have actually wanted to try for a long time now. But I suppose I shied away from it because of the price. I must agree with everyone that talked so positively about it because it is so gorgeous. I have never had a foundation where my skin looks flawless before. I have also never had a foundation where I can control the coverage. However people did say that the only bad thing about it is that it doesn't come with a pump. But so far I haven't had a problem without one. What I do is use my finger and cover it over the foundation and tip it upside down so that I get a little bit on my finger. To which I then dab bit's all over my face then blend it with a brush. I also received a dual-intensity eyeshadow in the colour 'Callisto'. Which is beautiful! You can use the dual-intensity eyeshadows wet or dry. Using them wet makes the colour more pigmented. Love this eyeshadow so much and I'm sure I will be featuring it again in another post.

                      Hope you enjoyed todays post

This look is great for any occasion. Whether it being shopping or going out for a meal. Unfortunately if you are interested in buying this dress boohoo don't do it anymore as I got it at the beginning of this year. But there could be something similar either on boohoo or somewhere else.

Being Trapped in the circle

Hi, so after this week it has been quite a reflection with for us and what we want to do with our lives. Now you are probably thinking woah, there only 15 (nearly 16 only 5 days) but after staying indoors and revising we have had a suffocation of boredom.

So, we have decided to just vent to you what we have been thinking…and we are thinking quite a lot.

To be honest we have no idea how to start. I guess we will just write about the first thing that pops into our brains.

We feel trapped with where we are at the moment, now is that just our age? There is nothing to do that is exciting and fun apart from shopping. But when you are only 15 years old and do not have a job it is very hard to actually buy things. Anyway, as we were saying we feel like all we do every day is the same, it is scheduled and just draining. We want to explore and experience new things, we want to travel and embrace other cultures rather than come home and wait for the next day.

Secondly, we are bored with our lifestyle’s now don’t get me wrong we appreciate our life and we understand that we have a more fortunate life than other people in the world. We are extremely grateful for our family and friends and we are grateful for the environment we live in. But we are just bored with how we are living our lives. It’s like we are doing the same thing every day and we are just waiting for something to make it change so we can break from the circle.

We are going to stop there because we don’t want to make this long and boring itself. But maybe in a year or more we will come back to this post and explain what we are thinking then. Maybe it will be where we want to be now? Who knows we can’t predict the future but we can definitely try and control the route we pick. It feel's a lot better writing down our thoughts down, it feels like we have refreshed our brains.

Anyway we aren’t going on another break anytime soon, so keep checking every Wednesday and Saturday for any new posts!

A Hint Of Pink

Being a lover of basic clothes I always tend to buy simple black and white things. But I have told myself to slowly come out of my shell and try things with colour and patterns (nothing crazy). So this post is going to be my reminder to myself and I will try my best to adventure in the world of Fashion. But for know here is a list of what I'm wearing and as you can tell I have attempted a bit of colour already by Pink Timberlands. Haha you always have to have a starting point.

Little time waster

So todays post is very different and out of the ordinary...we have a KITTEN!
We have been looking for about a month for a cat and decided to get this little cutie, Myrtle. She is currently roaming around my room as we speak (or as I type).
Awwww her meows are the cutest in that she can't properly say it, if that makes sense?

She is 9 weeks old and is a rescue kitten from the blue cross in England.
Myrtle is pronounced mertle, oh geez she just jumped on my bed and is now right on my head oh ok now she has moved to my window seal....my little explorer!
She is the perfect kitten and fits into our family perfectly with a little character ready to grow.

Hope you enjoyed todays unusual post, if you are looking for any pets and you live in the UK I highly recommend the Blue cross. They're a very helpful rescue centre with hundreds of adorable pets ready to be rehomed!

Knowing your style

So I know I'm only young but today's post is advice on how to find your style. My style is still growing just like fashion is so I know I'm not the next Anne Wintour but I can atleast give some tips on finding your style. Let's begin...
1.) Read magazines to help inspire you on looking for different trends and styles. This will then give you a picture of what fits into your category that you see yourself in.
Vogue is an amazing magazine to help inspire you. You get a variety of unique styles from classy to sporty! So I recommend that if you haven't read one already!
2.) Go browse shopping...I know i know that sounds crazy...not actually shopping. But sometimes going into town to just look is a good way to expand your mind. You are then full of ideas of what could go with what and if you would wear it! Trust me I do this ALOT.
3.) Instagram...I love fashion bloggers that have a really creative profile full of OOTD's. It gives me ideas on what I would like in my wardrobe but also what I could pair my outfits with! My favourite is probably Danielle Bernstein (Weworewhat). But also my favourite Instagram account is Freya stores. They are a "premier online store for woman" (as it says in there description.) They are really trendy but they have elements that are really unique and I LOVE their clothes! I wish I had some...
4.) Being true to yourself! Whatever you feel comfortable and proud in means you are happy and confident in yourself! I would say my boots from next (if you haven't seen go on my London collaboration post) are what I feel most confident in if you wanted to know?! Anyway as I was saying if you are happy with what you are wearing then nothing else should matter, unique and individual is probably what I would say as a key to success....
5.) I'm going to end my final point on polyvore. I love polyvore as I feel it can show myself and other people what I love and would want to wear...however I don't have enough money to buy clothes all the time so polyvore is my way of saying I would wear this but I can't afford designer pieces. Birthday's and Christmas's are my way of building my style and growing my wardrobe!
I hope this helped. I found this a fun post to do so I may do some similar ones In the future! Hope you enjoyed today's post ❤️❤️❤️

My sisters style (OOTD)

Today's blogpost is completely different in that our older sister wanted to be in a blogpost. So we decided to take a picture of her OOTD! This is no secret in that my sister is a shopaholic so every time she comes home it excites me when she has a bag full of new clothes!
There's also no secret that I LOVE turtleneck items! The jumper Zoë (my sister) is wearing is from zara,it is grey with black and white specs.
The black jeans are from Topshop and they are Jamie jeans.
The heeled boots are from H&M and the backs of the boots have reptile skin texture! (If that makes sense)

Hope you enjoyed today's post!❤️❤️❤️

Continued...

On Wednesdays post it was the body shop haul. I thought it would be nice to show you what the products look like on.
The bronzer is subtle however you can build it up. I love this as i have more control over the product.
The blush is beautiful. Again it is subtle so I can build it up gradually. The colour is very pretty and it is great for everyday use.
The lipstick is nice and glossy great for a natural looking lip colour. I really love the formulas of all the products and would recommend the body shop makeup! Also all the products I bought are perfect for an everyday makeup look.

Hope you enjoyed today's post ❤️❤️❤️

My favourites from LFW!

London fashion week is probably the most exciting to catch up on for me, personally I think it's because it's in my favourite city and it feels extremely close to my house (even though I don't live in London) although some people would say they are all the same just in different places I think each city is different...you see different street styles and different cultures!
Amanda Wakely! Well she has done amazing;the whole collection was by far my favourite! I think it all looks feminine, sophisticated, beautiful and classy! The white gives it a delicate effect!
She incorporated a match between dresses and two pieces (skirts and tops, trousers and tops)
This is one outfit from her show:
Even the hair and makeup is beautiful!
Next it is the street style from London Fashion Week! I love seeing different outfits a variety of people wear so whenever it is fashion week looking at millions each day is very exciting! Anyway unfortunately I don't know who this is but her outfit is beautiful. The different shades of green contrast perfectly.
Her hat and bag fit perfectly with the block colour in the middle of her top! I just love it!
Finally it is Marks and Spencer's collection.
Marks and Spencer's target audience were elderly people however within the past 2 years or so I have noticed some more trendy, modern clothing out in stores. After seeing pictures from the show I kind of got a feel from Kim Kardashian inspired look with the long coats and midi skirts (even though these aren't bodycon midi skirts.) I love love the shoes on the right I think they are classy as they don't have a chunky soul and they have pointed ends at the toe. Well to be honest I love everything on both outfits! The colours all contrast well together and the 'dressing gown' coat looks super cosy but still street style!

Hope you enjoyed today's post! I love doing these posts so I think I will do another Milan favourites next Wednesday!❤️❤️❤️

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini

Today's post is inspired by the lovely Cheryl. At the moment on Xfactor Cheryl's makeup has been looking flawless for every show. The colours she has been wearing are browns, golds and bronzy colours. Unfortunately this was the best photo I could find that kind of showed you what look I was going for:

The eyes:
First prime your eyes, I used my sample of the urban decay primer potion.
Then I used half baked eyeshadow from the urban decay naked 2 palette all over my eyelid.
Through the crease and outer corner I used sandstone from the stilla palete. I also apply it under my eyes.
On my lash line I used blackout from the urban decay naked 2 palette.
Then I used the stilla brown pencil through my waterline top and bottom.
Next I applyed my Rimmel wonderful mascara to the tops and bottoms of my lashes.

Cheeks:
I used my NYC sunny bronzer to bronze up my face.
Then I applyed my favourite blush at the moment which is the clarins Miami pink blush.

Lips:
I applyed mac impassioned lipstick,
Then I used a little bit of my clear plumping lipgloss from soap and glory.

Hope you enjoyed today's post ❤️❤️❤️

My favourites from NYFW

After keeping up to date with New York fashion week I decided to share my favourites from a variety of shows.
First up it is the Michael Kors 'optimistic chic'
I absolutely Love this design! I think the belt detailing makes it interesting and just amazing I love how it wraps around the models upper waist. The colours compliment each other and it just shouts summer!
Next is the Jenny Peckenham 'Marilyn Monroe' inspired collection. These two were just a couple of my favourites from the show however each design has it's own contribute to the Marilyn Monroe specification. The colours are subtle which makes the coutures elegant and beautiful! I love the high neck element and how it goes in at the waist as it gives it a nice shape! Also I love the vintage/retro theme going along with it being Marilyn Monroe inspired.
Finally my last favourite is the House of Herrera (Caroline Herrera) collection! I love how it all looks chic and I'm going to say effortless! It is very feminine and I love  the light colours involved. I can use these designs as inspirations for next seasons trend!
I hope you enjoyed today's post there will be a LFW favourites on Wednesday! Although none of these are my own photos I wish one day I will be taking them myself! ❤️❤️❤️
